Mezzo-soprano Jennifer Larmore recieved a commendation from the Governor of Georgia (her home-state) following her recent Grammy success for Hansel and Gretel and her general contribution to music. Take a look at the photo!
Jennifer has two recordings available on Chandos, her arias album CHAN 3142 which includes Azucena's canzone from Il trovatore, Donna Elvira's recitative and aria from Don Giovanni, Adriano's scene from Rienzi, and Juliet's Waltz Song from Romeo and Juliet. She took the role of Hansel in Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel conducted by Sir Charles Mackerras.
